BOB POPOVICS JIGGY HEAD

Description

These Jiggy heads are designed for the construction of Bob Popovics’ famous Jiggy fly pattern. This is a simple but extremely effective pattern that is particularly popular in saltwater fly fishing. In the Nordic countries, the Jiggy fly is well known as one of the most widely used flies for sea trout fishing. These heads can also be used to create imitations of sculpin and other streamers for river fishing.
The size of the head hole allows it to be inserted on the hook either before or after the fly is constructed, depending on the diameter of the hook eye. The inner cavity is designed to allow lead wire to be wrapped around the hook shank for additional weight. Eyes can be applied to the sides with super glue or epoxy.
