The Killer Grayling is one of those flies that needs no introduction among experienced anglers. Over time, dozens of dressings have tried to earn this name, but few really deserve it. This pattern, as simple as it is deadly, was born to seduce grayling … and it often succeeds in fooling even the most wary trout.Made from basic but carefully selected materials, this fly works perfectly in clear, cold water, typical of the environments frequented by Thymallus thymallus. Its slender profile and in-water action make it ideal in variable light conditions or when fish are particularly suspicious.
