LA GASOLINA 2
Description
Gasolina2 was inspired by one of the best-known Perdigon flies in modern nymph fishing: the Gasolina.
The concept remains the same as the one that made this type of lure famous: a simple profile, great penetration, and iridescence that constantly changes with the light.
Gasolina2, however, interprets this concept in its own way.
The slender body features iridescent reflections that shift from darker tones to shades of green and copper depending on the angle of the light. It is not an overly flashy artificial fly: the effect becomes most noticeable when the nymph moves, creating subtle color changes as it drifts.
The compact design allows the Gasolina2 to sink quickly through the water column, a feature that is particularly useful when fishing on the bottom and you need to reach the correct depth quickly.
This nymph works well both as a single fly and as part of a two-nymph rig. It can be used in strong currents, in pools, and in shallow riffles, but also when you want to fish with small flies while maintaining good sinking ability.
Its strength lies precisely in the balance between its minimalist silhouette and its appeal.
Gasolina2 is designed primarily for trout and grayling and is perfectly suited to modern Euro Nymphing and tight-line nymphing techniques.
A nymph that is simple only in appearance, designed around a specific principle: to quickly reach where the fish are feeding and make itself visible just enough.
